Woo! Hoo! It's official! The guesthouse is booked, plane tickets are bought, itinerary is set, well.... we hope, hehe! We are going to Thailand!!!!!!!
After a long agonizing wait to buy our airline tickets with the perfect price & length of trip, I get notified by email 2 weeks later that our flight itinerary has been changed. What????? Yes, it was true our connecting flights from Korea to Chiang Mai were cancelled. Our trip went from two weeks long to 8 days. I called & sat on the phone with the airlines for almost an hour & a half. In the end, we are now leaving a few days earlier then planned & our trip went from two weeks to three. I was told that with the economy we could have things change again right up until the day we leave. Crazy, hope things stay the way they are.
Everything should be all set on that end of things. Now on to getting our vaccines, malaria meds, & travel info in line.
It's getting closer, & getting to be crunch time. So much to do, less & less time to get it all done.
